    Evaluating a new technology can be time consuming

    If your team does not have enough time, we can help to get started with PopcornFX by integrating PopcornFX Runtime SDK into your custom engine.

    We have a great deal of experience integrating PopcornFX in various Game engines with varying code bases (Unreal Engine 4 & 5, Unity, Lumberyard, O3DE, Unigine and many custom inhouse engines).

    Our team can continue maintaining the PopcornFX module of your engine over your production's lifetime, or hand over to your team the initial implementation.

  • Implement your ideas

    PopcornFX is a simulation framework with many features, not all of them are needed to be implemented in your game code, however:

    If there are PopcornFX features required by your production but your team is lacking time to implement them, we can help to implement them directly in your Game engine code base.

    On the other hand, your production might require unique features not supported out of the box by PopcornFX:

    We can implement required changes in PopcornFX Runtime SDK and/or your Game engine code base.

    Closing in on the deadline, stabilization and optimization become top priority.

LATEST WORK

To get a better understanding on how PopcornFX development team can help, here are some examples of our recent collaborations:

An initial integration of PopcornFX Runtime SDK was done in an in-house engine for a new game production. It allowed their team to start viewing effects in their game engine viewport after a few weeks

A studio using Lumberyard was willing to evaluate PopcornFX but a good amount of effects were already created using Lumberyard's default particle system. We built a Lumberyard to PopcornFX effects converter, allowing the studio to assess the visual, stability and perf differences between the two systems before committing fully to PopcornFX

We helped a studio optimize their PopcornFX Runtime SDK integration code for their highly anticipated game on all supported platforms (from Nintendo Switch to Next gen consoles). PopcornFX being a sub-system interacting with many other components of the engine, we helped identify additional parts of the engine that required optimization

For an ongoing game production, our development team implemented custom rendering capabilities in Lumberyard game engine for advanced effects rendering

For AMD's latest RDNA 2 ``Hangar 21`` technology demo, we provided an initial integration of PopcornFX Runtime SDK supporting exclusively D3D12 GPU simulated particles, allowing the demo development team to implement VRS and Raytracing support for PopcornFX particles

  • At the onset of every project, we sign a non-disclosure agreement with the client, and our employees must sign a non-disclosure agreement as well.
  • Our security team has installed virtual private networks (VPNs) and firewalls to maintain outbound and inbound data security.
  • Every system in our office and every employee email account is password-protected to prevent any unauthorized use of data.
  • In case of a fire, no data will be lost, as we backup important documents in an offsite storage facility. We use fireproof cabinets within our offices for added safety.
