Martin LaLand-Romero is a visual effects artist. For the past 10 years, he has worked for gaming & movie industry (Warner Bros, Disney Interactive, Electronic Arts, Crystal Dynamics, Liquid Entertainment, Cinematico, Golden Era Production) and also taught at the Academy of Art University.
Martin’s main focus is designing lifelike particle effects using proprietary engines and 3D applications. He has created special effects such as explosions, smoke, clouds, liquid, fire, cloth, debris and rigid bodies simulation. He often uses texturing and lighting to bring his visual effects to life.
His projects included several game titles and shorts, 3D TV series, and game cinematics.

Andreas has spent over 8 years as a VFX artist in the gaming industry. Recently he worked as an associate lead VFX artist at DICE. During that time he has worked on projects like Battlefield 1 and Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. Right now he is running a remote VFX company called Partikel while studying Mechanical Engineering as a side project.
Andreas is a fan of customizing which is probably why he’s drawn to tools like Houdini and PopcornFX. For the Unite 2016 demo of Project Wight (The Outsiders, not yet released) Andreas was the only VFX artist, working directly with art, code and design. Working remote, PopcornFX allowed Partikel to prototype and produce styletests for clients without being bound to an engine.

David Skilton is a Senior VFX Artist at Sony Interactive Entertainment’s London Studio, specializing in effects for virtual and augmented reality games. He has worked in VR for the past three years, playing an integral role in the development of the PlayStation VR launch title: VR Worlds.
David’s passion for game development also lead him to spend a great deal of time in the fields of design and lighting, which allows him to employ a holistic approach to the creation of immersive game experiences.
