Overview
This section will cover the various concepts of PopcornFX 2.0, without going too much into user-interface details.
For UI documentation, please see the Editor UI page.
In PopcornFX 2.0, effects are created with a node-based approach.
The PopcornFX editor exposes two main types of nodegraphs:
- The particle graph, where particle simulation takes place
- The layer graph, where layers are defined and connected through events
Both share the same node workflow but are designed to author different parts of PopcornFX effects.
The following topics will cover the main concepts of each graph, as well as more general concepts.
